Now that the secret’s out… I got to give you the 3 reasons why this works for me: 🌅 ☕️ Early mornings are my absolute favorite so early bedtimes support that 🐶 🐶 The girls are still waking up 1-2 times a night to go outside (for now) 🤯 🤔  If given the chance, I get “busy brain” often so early sleep = more sleep I mean I just love to sneak into bed early🥱. If I had to choose the ideal time it’d probably be somewhere between 8:30-9:30pm so I can wind down and set myself up for a good sleep. What is your ideal bedtime? No wrong answer….just curious! I have to share this story with you… I thought recording my book for audible was going to come ….easier….. to me. After all, I wrote the damn book! “More money, more problems” Not in this lifetime…. Your past, present and future money selves are working together in your favor. See below from my book Money Queen: In 2009, I got a divorce and told myself I was going to be financially independent for the rest of my life. I hired a financial advisor and told him I wanted to retire at forty-five years old, or at least make work optional. He didn’t laugh at this declaration of mine, so I believed it could be true. Smart man. I shoved money away into investments, maxed out my 401K, and kept a healthy amount in my bank account. I went to Mexico a few times a year with friends to all-inclusive resorts and made my way up to MN to visit family each year. Then plans changed, as they often do,  and I left corporate and my ability to save more money for a while.  But the money was still there, growing and doing its thing on my behalf. So when the opportunity came up to invest in a mastermind, I knew this was how I would fund it. Past money self (the saver) took care of current money self (the dreamer) so that future money self (the doer) could embark on the most exciting, expansive, and transcendent chapter of her life to date. 5 ways to improve CASH FLOW 👏🏼 1. Receive money faster - Set up electronic invoicing / payment receipts. 2. Pay out money slower - Pay when bills are due, not when received. 3. Use business credit cards (responsibly)- Business credit cards can be a great tool to establish business credit (different from your own personal credit), buy time (debit cards hit directly to bank account, credit cards payments are due monthly) and snag some rewards (points, miles cash back, etc). Becoming an entrepreneur was my chance to reclaim my life and build a business that brought me money, joy, abundance and a level of success that felt good to me. Except, that’s not how my story unfolded. Almost nothing about my early experiences of entrepreneurship brought me what I was looking for.  To be honest, I had no idea what I was doing.  Being a corporate CFO did very little to prepare me for entrepreneurship.  I was playing really small.  Over-delivering and undercharging.  Had no boundaries.  Money was tight.  I didn’t enjoy my work. I felt unsupported and alone.  I cried….. a lot.  Surely, this was not the life I had envisioned when I left my corporate job. Nothing changes if nothing changes. In 2019, I invested in my first mastermind. Looking back, I can now see how that decision was the catalyst that created every blessing I get to experience today.
