1️⃣ Scope out your work in phases. This approach allows you to recalibrate resources, pricing, and deliverables as needed before committing to a long-term engagement.
2️⃣ Create efficiencies. Use systems and support teams to reduce internal costs, leverage specific skill sets, and automate tasks that drain time. Lower costs = higher profit.
3️⃣ Stop over-investing. I’m a HUGE fan of personal and professional development—in doses. You need to show up for your investments to get the best return. Go all in on fewer areas so you can focus on integrating what you learn and maximizing the opportunities that come from it.

1️⃣ Scope out your work in phases. This allows you to recalibrate resources, pricing and deliverables as needed before locking into a long-term engagement.
2️⃣ Create efficiencies. Use systems and support teams to reduce your internal costs, leverage specific skill sets and automate tasks that may burn up extra time. Lower cost = higher profit.

When I quit my corporate job, I had high hopes for my next chapter.
Becoming an entrepreneur was my chance to reclaim my life and build a business that brought me money, joy, abundance and a level of success that felt good to me.
Except, that’s not how my story unfolded.
Almost nothing about my early experiences of entrepreneurship brought me what I was looking for.
To be honest, I had no idea what I was doing. Being a corporate CFO did very little to prepare me for entrepreneurship. I was playing really small. Over-delivering and undercharging. Had no boundaries. Money was tight. I didn’t enjoy my work. I felt unsupported and alone. I cried….. a lot.
Surely, this was not the life I had envisioned when I left my corporate job.
Nothing changes if nothing changes. In 2019, I invested in my first mastermind. Looking back, I can now see how that decision was the catalyst that created every blessing I get to experience today.
